About the Principal

Principal, Clint Grove, has had extensive experience in the banking and finance sectors having held several key positions with major banks both in the United Kingdom and Australia.

His most recent appointment was Corporate Manager - Property Finance at The Royal Bank of Scotland International (RBSI) where he focused on United Kingdom residential and commercial property investment transactions.

Clint joined the team at RBSI from Northern Bank where he was Offshore Banking Manager. Prior to this he had been with Westpac Banking Corporation in Australia for 18 years; the last three as Business Service Manager. This involved relationship management in respect of small business operations, although his overall experience with Westpac has taken in all areas of retail and business banking including six years working in the securities field.

His continuing career development in Australia involved courses ranging from superannuation and investment planning to commercial and credit risk analysis.

Before founding Offshore Lending Limited and its subsidiaries, Clint worked with property investors and developers to create bespoke lending and banking solutions whilst working for The Royal Bank of Scotland. This involved loans for the purchase or refinancing of investment properties and funding for property under construction.

"There was a real lack of offering in the marketplace where clients could get a straightforward, honest service and a reliable solution to their requirements. We deal quite extensively with the expatriate market, a market with which I am very familiar having underwritten hundreds of cases when I was Offshore Banking Manager for Northern Bank Offshore."

"Clients like our down to earth service and great after sales care - if we say we can get the job done, we generally can. We want clients to be satisfied with what we deliver so that their transaction is  not simply a 'one-off'' but that we retain an on-going relationship in the future. Our experience also tells us that when our clients are happy they tell others - and that's good business."
